Pornography Research
I investigated the use of pornography among youth of color. Some results: can be associated with dating violence, some youth know its not real sex, and others use it to learn about sex.
Family and Student Relationship.
- Created a proposal to study the role of the family in the high school graduation of students.
- Examined the literature using the social capital theory by Annette Lareau.
- Submitted an IRB proposal to have a qualitative study with semi-structured interviews.
